Who We Are
The Center for Community Development and Research (CCODER) was established on May 4, 1990 by Dr. Govinda Dhital. CCODER is a government-recognized, independent non-profit organization based in Nepal.
Since its establishment, CCODER has worked closely with rural communities, local governments, and development partners to alleviate poverty and promote sustainable development practices.
Our Journey & Resilience
Three Decades of Service
Over more than 30 years, CCODER has continuously adapted to Nepal’s changing social, political, and economic landscape while remaining rooted in community participation.
Surviving Conflict
CCODER survived Nepal’s 10-year civil war, continuing its work despite instability, displacement, and hardship faced by rural communities.
Rebuilding After Earthquakes
Following the devastating 2015 earthquakes, CCODER supported communities in rebuilding livelihoods, homes, schools, and hope.
