In coordination and partnership with Practical Action Nepal, CCODER is rolling out a project to increase market access focusing to smallholder farmers in the district of Gorkha. The overall objective of the project is to reduce poverty, achieving sustainable increase in income of smallholder dairy farmers in Gorkha. The Project is designed to develop pro-poor markets to enable women and disadvantaged smallholder farmers and the landless to take advantage of commercial opportunities. The landless and marginal households will benefit through leasehold farming for dairy, fodder crops and related activities on small plots and through the creation of local employment opportunities.
